Young Infants Young infants build relationships with those who feed them. Although they seem not to be gaining anything from this experience, they gain get nurtrients, taste milk, and gain feelings of secure and safe. |
Mobile Infants Mobile Infants enjoy being involved in the preparations of their food and snacks. They learn new vocabualry by listening to the words their caregiver tells them. They are building small muscles by using their hands to help mix, stir and shaking ingredients

Toddlers Toddlers have more of an active role in helping prepare their food. Activites can be planned for toddlers to encourage their interest in food. Toddlers will be preparing snacks for the class and parents can also be invited to this activity by sharing recipies that are important to their family or culture. |
