Children can be compared to blosoming scientist. They are curious, eager to learn, and love to investigate. Children are exploring their surroundings by using all their senses and experiement and try to figure our how things work, what things do, and what they can make happen. Physical Science involves exloring physical properties of objects and animals. Children use all their sense to figure out problems, investigating, and manipulating the objects around them. Life Science involves exploring the natural world of living things, including both plants and animals. Infants like to explore the faces of the adults that care for them and toddlers will explore their outdoor surroundings and notice differences with animals. Social Science includes people, who they are, where they live, and what they do. Infants will more likely examine other babies or people with great interest. Toddlers recognize themselves and are intrigued about learning about their friends homes.
